In collaboration with BBC, the South Bank Centre held a centenary to honour Ravi Shankar, a world-renowned musician, who introduced Indian classical music to the world and inspired the Sixties 'psychedelic' sound through his collaboration with The Beatles. His close relationship with Harrison, shot Shankar to global stardom in the 1960s.
